Some popular gacha or gacha-like games are Granblue Fantasy, Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp, Final Fantasy Brave Exvius, and Fire Emblem Heroes. They’re similar to loot boxes in that they motivate the player to spend real-world money to get access to desired items. Gacha games implement the capsule-toy vending machine mechanic that encourages players to spend in-game currency to receive virtual items.

It offers little insight into the gameplay besides running through a few areas, almost as if to make sure your attention is dedicated to the ethereal song playing in the background. While we don’t get much of an inkling on the story besides that we will be playing as a little girl at some point, the trailer seems to focus on the music. Many NieR fans would agree with the notion that the series’ pillars are its story and music. The track currently has no name, but it’s an exciting small taste of what’s to come. What stands out above everything else is, of course, the ethereal music that plays throughout the trailer. The white circle you see on the left side of the screen is likely a controller display. The trailer features the main character running around a structure, accompanied by a floating cute little ghost-like figure. It’s short and simple, but it’s worth watching for the music alone.
